Price List
We believe we are the lowest cost provider of computer related services in the area. No one else locally offers the same quality and expertise in their work as we do for the price we charge.
We are able to keep our prices low as we work from a workshop at a private residence, and therefore only have one set of overheads. We usually only carry field replaceable units in stock, and order parts as and when required (can be available next day) that way we can offer you the very latest prices.
Beware of local start-ups offering very cheap rates. It is impossible to run a business charging such low hourly rates and these start-ups may only last a few months.
We are a VAT registered business and our VAT number is 213183444. For private customers we will pay your VAT on labour, the price you see is the price you pay. For businesses we will add VAT on top of these prices at the current rate of 20%.
Are you a local registered charity? If so, we offer 25% off
all our labour costs. Click

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer a fixed fee?
Our general answer to this is no. We feel a fixed fee puts
pressure on the technician to fix a certain issue in a set amount of time, and
therefore compromising the quality of work carried
out. Not all jobs are the same; they require
different tools to diagnose and fix the issue at
hand. If an engineer charges a fixed fee and
discovers the job will take longer than they feel is
feasible, they will either say they cannot fix
it, perform a much more simple repair such as
reinstall Windows as a generic answer to all issues
or the quality and reliability of work will degrade
as the job proceeds. We are fair though, where
we know a job will take longer than normal we will
place sensible caps on labour. For example, we
often have hard disk recoveries running over 72
hours, but you might only be charged 2 or 3 hours
depending on the complexity of the problem.
This is dealt with on a case by case basis.
We do however charge fixed fees for certain items that will always take the same amount of time, such as screen or keyboard replacements for laptops.
Do you offer a No Fix No Fee policy?
We don't generally advertise this as we feel
this is bad marketing. There is rarely a
problem in IT that cannot be fixed one way or
another, it all depends how much the job would cost. When calling to discuss your problem,
we can generally inform you if it is something we
can look at or not. At the very least we will
invite you to the office so we can take a quick
look. If in 5 or 10 minutes we can determine
it is something we are unable to fix then there will
be no charge. Some issues will require a
degree of investigation, such as failed hard disks,
before we can ascertain if we can perform a
successful fix or not. In these situations,
they will be dealt with on a case by case basis.
Why do you charge a Call Out fee?
We charge a Call Out fee to cover the cost of
travelling to your property. Competitors who
do not charge a call out fee will often have much
higher labour prices and will cover their costs
through this.
